The Shortest Nativity
It is no coincidence that John starts His Gospel in that same place that the Torah, the Books of Moses, began: “In the Beginning…”
John takes us back to the creation of space and time and says, “Yeshua, Jesus, the Son of God, the Messiah was there. Not only was He there, but He was the word and deed.
The Father
Michael, the archangel alighted on the mountaintop and bowed to the father.
“I’ve seen it all, and it is magnificent! You have painted and molded perfection.”
“Thank you. It is Tov m’od, exceedingly beautiful and good,” the Father beamed. “But it’s just the beginning.”
“Just the beginning?” Michael inquired. “What could you possible create that could top this?”
“Potential,” the Father replied. “Opportunity.”

But without a firm foundation, our buildings fall. Our praises cease. Our words of encouragement fall on deaf ears.
This is what the Foundations Bible School is all about.

Kefa Pt.1
When I picture Peter, I hear a gruff weathered voice. I see a rash slightly impulsive man. This was the one, after all, who cut off the ear of the servant of the Kohen Gadol in the garden at Yeshua’s betrayal. (John18:10-11) He seemed to be always the first to respond to Yeshua’s questions and actions. “Don’t wash my feet!” “Wash my hands and head also!” (John 13:4-10) “I’ll follow you to death!” (Matthew 26:31-35) “I tell you I don’t know the man!” (Matthew 26:69-75)
Who was Peter when Yeshua found him? Peter is a complex man and one of the greatest bits of character development that we get to see in the gospels. In what ways did Peter change throughout scripture?
