My whole approach to worship…

is encapsulated in this song. I remember hearing this song at a worship conference in the mid ‘90s. God, the pursuit of His purposes for my life, are my obsession.

Miqedem.

‘Nuff said! I love the Yemenite sounds of Miqedem. This is my favorite track from their sophomore release.

Selah.

There are many opinions on today’s worship. From generation to generation, styles change and a battle of the preferences ensues. But the heart of worship stays constant. This is one of the most worshipful albums I know of. It is John Coltrane’s psalm and love letter to a forgiving and redeeming God.

Truth.

“Truth” is one of the most stunning audio/visual pieces of art today. This piece by Kamasi Washington celebrates diversity and interconnectivity. Washington explores the saxophone and is master of the musical vocabulary. Soak in this “Truth”.

Where it all began…

It all began with this musical retelling of the parable of The Sheep and The Goats by Keith Green. Listening to this version of Matthew 25:31-46 changed my life in July of 1995. May it change you today!
